The Charleston to Bermuda race June 2011 was a huge sucess! We sailed on the Hylas 54 Gratitude with 5 able-bodied sailors. We can't wait to do it again in May 2012.
Race to Bermuda:
Be one of 6 sailors to participate with OnDeck Charleston, the group that won the First Place Governor's Cup in the 2009 race. The race event includes 2 training sessions with our ocean-savvy OnDeck Charleston instructor.
The adventure begins with 6 days of training in April. The first 3-day weekend will consist of prep, safety drills and getting familiar with your boat and fellow racers. We try to line up the second 3-day weekend preparing for the C2B and participating in one of CORA's Offshore Challenge Races. For 2 days prior to the event you again join your crew for race trip planning and preparation. Then you set sail and race like the wind.
