The Beneteau 423s Tohidu and Moonshot are our most comfortable cruisers. The 423 steers
beautifully at all angles to the wind and is very dependable in high
winds and seas. This handsome, versatile 43-foot cruiser is a favorite among our clients for both quality day cruising and major passage making. It is a powerful, high-quality cruising boat packed with innovative features and cruising comforts and a hull shape that keeps it from heeling excessively.
The cockpit is large, comfortable and well thought out and includes a huge table with folding leaves. It easily accommodates six people without feeling crowded.
The helm is light with precise steering; the most impressive feature of the 423 is how little effort it takes to sail it. Our clients find themselves relaxing in the cockpit, chatting happily and enjoying the ride.
Several times a year Tohidu's owner offers a first-class skippered charter to the islands.
The interior is stunning; Douka, a light wood from the mahogany family, is used throughout. Overhead skylight hatches offer an abundance of natural life, and numerous ports and hatches provide excellent ventilation.
This two-cabin boat is spacious on deck and inside, with 6'5" of headroom in the salon. The galley is also blessed with generous headroom and lots of counter space. Its proper navigation desk, equipped with Sirius Weather, AIS, and radar is a comforting place to sit in the morning while the coffee’s brewing.
The Tohidu was named Boat of the Year by the Charleston Ocean Racing Association in 2009 for its racing qualities and the educational uses to which it was put by its owner, Jay Cook. Everything about this boat speaks of quality, comfort and style!
