PRIZES FROM LEHI BAITS~
We are providing 2 yachts, a Cabo Rico and a Catalina 387, and invite you to be part of the crew. Join us for as many races as you'd like.
For the 3 longer races, we'll hold prep courses that we ask everyone (with only minor exceptions) to take. This is important to ensure that our sailors are prepared for these long races.
We ask that you be certified in Basic Keelboat.
Cost for all 5 races (including prep courses): $1750. For individual races please see rates below.
RACES
1) March 29, Saturday 9 am
30 MILE OCEAN DAY RACE
A great start to the season -- get a bit of salt over the bow!
Duration: approx. 5 hours. Cost: $150
2) May 23 - 25, Friday - Sunday
DAYTONA TO CHARLESTON RACE
The "Gulfstreamer" -- one of the East's leading 250 mile regattas
Duration: 2 separate weekends, 3 days each.
First weekend we'll sail down to Daytona, conducting the prep course onboard. We'll provide a van for the drive back.
Second weekend we'll van down, and race back.
Cost: $750 includes prep course, race and transportation
3) July 3, Thursday
GEORGETOWN CHALLENGE
A 130 mile overnight race -- start and finish Charleston Harbor.
Our full day prep course for this will be held Saturday, June 28
Cost: $500 includes everything
4) August 8, Friday 7 pm
THE PORT ROYAL CHALLENGE
A 90 mile overnight race -- start and finish Charleston Harbor
Cost: $500 includes full day prep course
5) September 6, Saturday 9 am
30 MILE OCEAN DAY RACE
The big "finale" -- a season ending challenge!
Duration: approx. 5 hours. Cost $150
