Ocean Sailing Academy sailing course prices are per person for scheduled sailing classes.

The pricing listed below includes all course materials, textbooks, written and practical exams, and US Sailing certification.

Pricing based on low season rates. Please contact OSA to determine the exact course tuition depending on the time of the course. This course has a two-student minimum.

Pricing based on a 13-day course with a 6-day practical. Course tuition is subject to increase with longer passages.

Any sailing certification level can be exempted with the proper knowledge and sailing skill level. Those wishing to challenge a level are required to pass practical and written examinations.  Passing a challenge exam and obtaining the certification without completion of the course costs $150 for most exams (with the exception of the Coastal Navigation which costs $395).

Students obtain a discounted rate when purchasing regular courses in bulk.

Basic Keelboat Combo and the Basic/Bareboat Cruising Combo: $2,490
Basic Keelboat Combo, Basic/Bareboat Cruising Combo and Coastal Navigation Live-Aboard: $3,995

Custom Full-Day Lessons

Custom lessons are ideal for refreshers and short, customized courses. Certifications are not required but are available. US Sailing certifications cost an additional $150 per student (except the Coastal Navigation certifciation, which costs $395).

*Prices are for one student, but you may bring up to four people for an additional $100 per person.

Lessons on Your Boat --(LOYB)

On your own boat lessons are designed for boat owners who want to learn sailing skills and knowledge aboard their own vessel. Certifications are not required but are available. US Sailing certifications cost an additional $150 per student (except the Coastal Navigation certifciation, which costs $395).

*Prices are for one student, but we can accomodate additional students for $50 per person.
