Where You Can Stay: Convenient Lodging

Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina- We are located at the resort's full service marina. The resort itself is situated on the banks of Charleston Harbor and is steeped in southern charm and hospitality. Call 843-856-0028 for special OSA lodging rates.

Quality Inn & Suites @ Patriots Point - Within walking distance of OSA on Patriots Point Road, this hotel is new, clean and nice.  Free hot buffet style breakfast served every morning. Sports bar and restaurant is next door and provides an excellent bag lunch. Call Director of Sales at the hotel, 843.856.8817, for an established special OSA rate.

Hiltons, Hampton Inns, Embassy Suites, Homewood Suites
- This group of hotels offer a variety of long-term and short-term options, all high quality, all with hot breakfast included. Locations from downtown Charleston to the airport.

On a Yacht - At times one of our boats is available very affordably for multi-day students. Docked at our marina, our yachts are convenient to the resort's restaurants and of course our office.

Charleston Ocean Racing Association (CORA).
The Charleston Ocean Racing Association (CORA) was formed in 1967 and races year round in Charleston's historic harbor and offshore waters. The primary objects of the association are to promote sailing, to encourage fellowship among sailors, to assist boat owner members to obtain competent crews, and to assist nonboat owning members to obtain desirable bereths.

South Carolina Maritime Foundation This non-profit group offers unique educational opportunities for the students of South Carolina by providing charters on the classic wooden ship the Spirit of South Carolina, and by sponsoring Charleston Race Week, the annual Maritime Festival, the C2B and other events.

Charleston Community Sailing is a non-profit group that strives to improve the sport of sailing by providing access, facilities and sailing instruction to people of all socio-economic backgrounds, skill levels and physical abilities.
